Today Maddie and I worked on a craft project. I got the directions from Family Fun magazine and we went shopping at Walmart for the ingredients. When everything was ready, we went hunting in the yard for likely plants. Maddie already had a bag of rocks she had collected and the final addition was a little plastic dog she contributed to guard the mini-jungle. After misting the soil, we put the cover on and placed the container on the dining table. I removed the top to get this picture but put it back on soon after. Max has been assigned the responsibility of checking the moisture level regularly. I hope to see this ecosystem thriving next time we visit!
