The pictures for this collage were taken several days last week to document the work of visiting artist, Michelle Stitzlein. Her specialty is creating found object art from recycled materials. ( http://www.artgrange.com/michellebio.html) To that end our children have been collecting plastic bottle caps for months. Every student participated in creating 5 big murals which will be displayed throughout the school. The bright colors, the garden motif and the chance to use an electric drill were all highlights in a wonderful week of making art.
