This kindergarten class was comparing the characteristics of urban and rural life. They had also been doing author studies of Ezra Jack Keats and Donald Crews. This afternoon they finished their study with a group art project. Half the class created a cut paper collage of city scenes (the small picture center bottom) while the others did a country scene, both in the manner of Ezra Jack Keats. Not only did they create some amazing art, but they cleaned up after themselves very efficiently!
