I posted my small victory on Facebook last week and here is the prize for which I have been waiting. These special cookies have been my extravagance for a few years. My local grocery chain carried them in their foreign food section. Two weeks ago they disappeared from the shelves with no hope of being brought back. I tracked them down online and ordered a case (seen here) from a store in Pennsylvania. Yesterday they arrived. Two cookies with a cup of tea is my idea of a very civilized repast. This ought to keep me going for quite awhile.
