Kilroy was Here

According to Wikipedia, "Kilroy was here" is an American popular culture expression that became popular during World War II; it is typically seen in graffiti. Its origins are debated, but the phrase and the distinctive accompanying doodle — a bald-headed man (sometimes depicted as having a few hairs) with a prominent nose peeking over a wall with the fingers of each hand clutching the wall — became associated with GIs in the 1940s.
This man is not bald but he does appear to be peeping over a wall. When I walked to the other side of that wall, I found what he was really doing. Click on the following link to see for yourself:

Neat shot of him peeping over the fence. I also like the photo of the complete graffiti painting, though it makes me miss Baton Rouge where a retired dentist brought in world-class graffiti artists to brighten up abandoned buildings.

Is this in Richmond?
