Our library subscribed to a new publication that sounded very exciting, "The jam-packed issues cover such a broad range of topics that young learners are sure to expand their minds. Fill their brain space with great knowledge."
When a student checked out and brought the first issue home, his mother, a teacher in our Upper School, found several factual errors. I'm happy to say she contacted the editors, and the correction appears in the most recent issue, with credit given to Ms. Marr.
I love the lesson this sends to our students about challenging the establishment when you know you are right!
