My friend Dana took me out for a late birthday lunch and to hear about my African Safari. To get in the mood, we went to Kuru, an Ethiopian restaurant in downtown Richmond. The food was delicious and the service was so friendly. We had a wonderful talk with the owner, originally from Ethiopia and our waiter, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University whose family came from Rwanda by way of France.
Looks lovely and good to get authentic flavours.
