Bernard is the resident of our condo community who takes care of the plantings around the pool enclosure. He does it purely from love. When I walked by today the gate as open so I popped in to see what was happening. Since the weather forecast is for two nights with frost (first of the season) Bernard has been packing up the cactus, ferns and other plants that wouldn’t make it through the winter. He is transporting them to the church where he is the music director so they can spend the cold months indoors with plenty of light. They’ll be back next Spring for another long growing season.
