We dipped below freezing one night, and the water in the bird bath froze so I emptied it, cleaned it and figured it was done for the season. (I don’t have the means to heat the water) then we got a rain a few nights ago. Today I saw this mourning dove drinking from the few inches of rain water. Way to make me feel guilty, MoDo! Naturally I filled the bird bath again.
