Last year my neighbor had a volunteer squash plant pop up in her front yard. She eventually yanked it out, but wonder of wonders, it returned this year, and my neighbor decided it was meant to be. It has already spread to cover the entire hedge. I’m guessing we’ll all be eating squash this summer.
