Waiting for lunch to be made. by allsop

Waiting for lunch to be made.

These folk are waiting for their lunch rolls to be made by the local baker. In case you are wondering why the writing on the shop front is wrong it is because it is a reflection in my car wing mirror.
That's a great observational shot.

@peadar Thanks Peter :-) A little bit of social history: In my description I deliberately reverted to 'London' speak and called them "lunch rolls" so everybody would understand, in these parts they are known as "cobs" and worker's lunch is called "snap". I don't know the origin of the term "cob" but "snap" is taken from the noise that the spring-loaded lunch tins that the coal miners had which made a snapping noise when closed.

@shutterbug49 You've got it! Looking forward to your challenge for me; it will be only my third one as I have just got into the challenges but I am finding the pushed challenge good for me and am learning a lot.
