One Tree Hill

I discovered another lone tree right up the street from me on the side of the grocery store parking lot (of all places). I've been looking high and low for these and here there was one right under my nose.

I love drama and this shot is filled with it. I had a great morning today. I ran with a friend and then had awhile before picking up Clara to go take some photos. I even had an adventure slogging around a muddy corn field. I came home with wet, muddy shoes, a filthy car (it almost got stuck in the mud) and a smile on my face. Perfect day!

**Exciting update** After seeing this shot today, I was commissioned by a friend to take this same shot in all 4 seasons and he will buy the photos:).

@automaticslim I only wish that my lens would allow me to have gotten it in a landscape orientation with more negative space, but I don't have one that will allow that now. Maybe the commission will aid me in getting a new lens (I will have to wait awhile, but...). Thank you:)!!
