This morning, I saw blushing color outside my window, jumped out of bed, threw on clothes and a jacket, grabbed my camera and ran to the lake to try some more ICM (intentional camera movement) shots for my get pushed challenge.
It was so peaceful out. The only sounds were the birds. I loved welcoming the new day all on my own. What a perfect start to the weekend!
@tonydebont This is kinda what I meant by how ICM would look over the ocean (though this is a lake). The ocean sunrise would come out much better. Let me know if you want me to describe how to accomplish this.
@rockinrobyn Thanks for your comments and the fave, Robyn!!
@dapinsker Thanks so much, Marc. I appreciate your comments and the fav! I didn't use a tripod...just set the camera at 100 iso and a 16 aperture on A setting, focused and swept it as I pressed the shutter.
@paulien It was so great. Loved the start. Thanks so much for the fav, Paulien!!
@kbalychev Aw, thanks so much, Miss Kimberly. Really appreciate your sweet words and the fave, lady!
@tryeveryday Thanks so much for the fav, my friend! So glad that I was able to finally accomplish ICM.
@happysnap Hey lady, here are some pointers that I was given to accomplish this. Have the camera in A setting, set the ISO to 100 and put the aperture to 16. Then focus and sweep the camera as you press the shutter. Hope that helps. Loved your album...following you now! And thanks so much for the fav!
@fueast You are fab. Thanks so much for the fav, my friend:)!
@tonydebont Hey Tony, I didn't search the net for a link but here are the instructions that I was given with my challenge. Hopefully your camera has the same settings: Have the camera in A setting, set the ISO to 100 and put the aperture to 16. Then focus and sweep the camera as you press the shutter. Hope that helps. Looking forward to seeing what you get!:)
@cdonohoue I am not either, my friend. But man, have our sunrises been gorgeous this winter. Loving them. And I seem to be energized for the day when I catch a good one. Thanks for your sweet comments!
@ozziehoffy Oh Cassandra, you should try them sometimes. They are so amazing. I've been quite the sunrise lady this year. It helps that I HAVE to be up getting the kids ready in the morning. And it also helps that I can take them in and even get some pretty decent photos off my back deck. Thanks so much for your great comments!:)
@paul2782 I love the amazing colors that the sky is painted with the sun and by God. I was grateful that I chose a good morning to go out to get this. Thanks, Paul!!
@pflaume Oh it was so pretty out there. It MADE my day to see this. Thanks, Lisa!!
@archaeofrog Thanks, Miss Katie. Really appreciate your great comments. I so could have used your light set up and backdrop for my shoot last night. My lameo stuff didn't do what I wanted it to;-).
@swguevin I love that it does. Thanks so much, sweet lady!
@still_beachradish You are very sweet. Thanks for checking in and commenting. I still like the blue of the ocean in there. I am a beach girl, myself, I guess...I grew up in FL but am now landlocked. At least we have the lake nearby!
@amandakay129 Thanks, Miss Amanda. Love your name. Following you back:)!
@frida Thank you so much for the sweet words and fav, Frida. I hope that you can capture this with paint!
@veroniccax Thank you so much for stopping in to comment. You are kind!
@mrmilner I LOVED the challenge and am so very grateful to be able to do this finally. Thanks so much for telling me how. And this photo made it to the PP thanks to you giving me the push. So great to be paired with you. Thanks again!:)
@kbalychev Made my day! Sheesh, I've had a good week. Hope that I don't hit a slump again. That tends to happen after I've had a good streak:). You are sweet, my friend!
@masosy It is a cool technique. I so love doing Get Pushed again. It's great to learn stuff like this...and low key. Thanks, friend!!
@paula365 Aw, thanks, lady! Do you shoot with a dslr? If so, here is what I did to get this shot: put it on the A setting, set ISO to 100 and set the aperture to 16, focused and swept the camera to the side as I pressed the shutter. I liked how it came out. Thanks so much for the fav and the follow back!
@noragentian You are sweet. Thank you, Ruth. I don't think that the fav button went through though...it didn't show up. How is your alphabet going? Find any letters yet? I've seen some, but yet to take the shots.
Second try... this time the button works. I saw a Z and will post it soon. It think, O, T and I can't be very difficult (hopefully). If you're interested, please have a look into JaniM's project @janim , cause he uploaded a wonderfull C today: http://365project.org/janim/365/2013-02-11
@noragentian Can't wait to see yours. I got a Y, A and H today.:) We'll see what I post. Jani's C was great! Thanks for pointing in out and again for the fav:)!!!
@jonesp Thank you, my friend. I was very pleased, though I had another shot that I think would have stood a better chance in the voting. This one got slaughtered.;-)
I am not a morning person, but would love to have seen this.
@cdonohoue haha me neither... I don't do mornings, hence not one sunrise in my albums!
@rockinrobyn Thanks for your comments and the fave, Robyn!!
