I am officially over the winter gray sky. I don't mind the cold so much, but the gray misery outside is starting to make me nuts. Uninspired by the outdoor ugliness, exhausted from my husband's whole week of early morning wake ups, and still a tad shaken up from my run in with the knight yesterday;-), I am taking the day off of photos.
This was from my shoot with Clara and the balloons a couple weeks back. This was a favorite of the bunch, but I was a bit bothered by the lights in the background. This one really caught the childhood wonder of balloons, though. I worked on the processing a bit more today, warmed it up and almost made it look sunny (or very polluted) rather than gray and thought that I would share it. I can still get away with heart things since it is still February, right?
2 months down in year 2!! 10 more months to go...oh, can I finish it again?!
Hoping for sunshine, blue skies and inspiration tomorrow on my son's 8th birthday!
Clara is wonderful in this shot. What a delightful expression. The red coat and the red heart shaped balloons are perfect! I hope you are feeling better Amanda. I am sooo sick of the gloomy days myself. This site helps a great deal. Along with being at the gym ;)
