I am so grateful to actually be getting out of my house this week. Today we went downtown to Findley Market for the first time. I was enjoying shooting in the city for a change.
This colorful scene is for my get pushed all about color challenge this week to brighten up my dull album:).
Definitely colorful! I find just the hint of blue distracting. Since it's your crop week, it seems, I'd have either gone wider for more blue or cut it out entirely.
@archaeofrog Oh lady...I hear ya! It was like I was shooting drunk yesterday. All my photos (well most) were VERY crooked. I shot it composed intentionally with the blue shutter, but had to straighten it more and lost most of it. I loved it, I wanted it...I could not lose it. Totally appreciate your feedback, though, my sweet friend!
@seanoneill LOVE your comments and that you liked this one, too. I adored it. Thanks so much for the fav. So when shooting it, I composed with the blue shutter on the left. There was much more of it in the shot, but it was all crooked. I even left it a bit crooked because I was not willing to lose that shutter out entirely. It kills me that I shoot that way so often. Maybe I need to shoot less linear things!
Thanks all so much for your great comments about this fun, stripy find downtown. Looking for color really cheered me up this week. I seriously recommend doing that. Happy Easter!:)
I am incredibly behind in commenting, so here goes trying to get caught up a bit. This splash of color is awesome. It look like something one might find in the tropics. I have seen settings like this in the out islands of the Bahamas.
@ejlockett You are sweet. I just looked and your shots are so lovely and natural. I was happy to find all this color in the middle of a bad part of town.
