I found this shot and this song attached below apt for Easter. Wishing you a beautiful holiday. It's one of my favorites as it reminds me that "He is Risen!"
Happy Easter Darling! He is Risen INDEED! :) Awesome shot and perfectly fitting song :) Fantastic post for the day! Hugs to you and your forever inspirational outlook! :)
What great textures and POV! I love the broken window and the reflection of blue in it. And the awesome little star! Wonderful shot! I love that song too. It's such a good one. We did this one this morning: http://youtu.be/hqy-gob13kA - I'd grown up singing Crown Him, but really love what CT added to the song.
nice title and fits perfectly with the song; i hadn't heard the song amazingly enough, so a very nice moment. reminds me of my son's amazing voice and gift. Hope you had a blessed Easter.
Thanks you all so much for your comments on this decay photo and Easter well wishings. I am really digging the grit and decay lately. Our Easter was great, but I maybe indulged too much. Today I seem to have the flu and feel like garbage. So sorry for being somewhat behind in my commenting and replying. It was a busy holiday weekend and now I am unwell:(.
@losthorizon Thanks, Beau. Much, much better today after lots of rest!!
@judis Thanks, Judi. I really appreciate your comments! Glad that you liked the pov...I was annoyed by the cut off window, but I wanted the star in there, too.
@leananiemand Thanks, Leana. I've been into texture lately!
@edie Thanks so much, my friend. Really appreciate the kind words and fav. Figure out how to prevent spots yet? I haven't researched it.
I did clean my lens and I don't see the spot I thought you were talking about but now I'm wondering if you meant the darkness in the corners which I notice now and then. When I see it I clone it. I haven't had a chance to investigate no. But I need to become a better photographer AND a better camera owner.
@edie I learned that I need to clean my camera sensor. It's $99 or $50 to take it in to get done (one of the places would have me without my camera for 2 weeks!!!) or buy a kit and figure it out myself for $6. I think that I will opt for the kit. I will let you know if I see the spot again. I learned that when your sensor is dirty/dusty, the spots show up at higher fstops/aperture. Mine don't always show. I just had a shot where I had to edit 6 or so out though. So freakin' much to learn...baby steps...
i just took a pic of one of these stars in an old building in downtown Indianapolis. I love the detail in old buildings.
