Happy June!! It was gray and humid today. I took some shots of these happy sunny flowers on my walk today, but they seemed lifeless and dull against the sky. I went a little nuts with the processing and kinda dug the funky result that reminded me of mother of pearl.
Day 2 of my kids summer vacation and I find myself going a little nuts already from all of the bickering and boredom. So looking forward to getting away in a few weeks for the photo weekend in NYC. I will sooo need that break!
Very fun! I say go crazy with processing. It's one of my favorite activites. My loss of (1000) kids in four days is made possible by moms like you who have to put up with some bickering and boredom for the summer! Thank you and good luck! :)

Hey friends, thanks so much for your lovely comments on this wildly edited shot. I've become more crazy with my editing the longer I do this. It's kinda fun for a change. Today I uploaded the step to the process just before I inverted and got the black version here. In case you are interested to see how I got this result. It's in my extra album on May 31.
Great editing. We have 10 weeks of summer holidays and I am going nuts by week 4 or 5. Luckily we have Christmas to focus on in the fist couple of weeks but after that it is a long hot and humid couple of months!!
@thirtysevenways Nuts that your summer holidays fall over Christmas. I'm nuts by day 2. I've got to figure out how to get the kids to STOP fighting and screaming.
