This was taken at the hot air balloon event last weekend. It was a photographers paradise. So many cool things going on all around (even and especially up in the sky)!!
One of my favorite things was looking up and seeing skydivers falling from the sky. I've never skydived, felt like I would be a chicken when the time came to jump, but watching them really made me want to do it. What a rush it would be!
Much to do to prepare for my best friend of 26 years (yikes!) and her family's visit next week. Busy, busy day in store. I'd rather jump from a plane than mop my floor, but, I think that the floor wins today...
When we lived in Canberra there were skydivers every weekend. We would hear the plane overhead and run out to watch them jump. We called them woo-hoos after the scream of joy they made when they jumped. We could then jump in the car get to their landing site before they touchdown :)
Hahahah! The mop wins again! Great shot. It would be a great photo op if you did jump....if you could even take a camera!! Have a good time with friends.
Nice shot! It take lots of self control (at least in my case) when it comes to cleaning the house - but the reward is huge! I hope you do sky dive but be careful!
@megmills I did a slap job but it took me all morning. It takes so long to get all of the dog hair up. It does look loads better, but I am wiped out! Thanks, friend. If we have a meet up next Friday night will you be here?
Go for it Amanda (says the chicken, who has jelly legs just thinking about it)! Great shot - I would do anything to get out of house work - but jump out of a plane - pass me the mop! : )))
@rennes Come on over;-). I did finally do it yesterday and it is nice to have a cleaner floor for a change. Just give the dog and kids another day or two and it will be filthy again.

yikes! srsly? good for you! i'd say i could never do that, but then i said i wasn't going to hike to angels landing at zion, and i did... so - i guess one should never say never!
@northy And can you imagine the great photos you could get when jumping from a plane??? Til you dropped the camera anyway;-). Good for you with the hiking. We'll see if I can follow through and jump!
