One of my new photographic goals that I recently set for myself is to capture raw human emotion. I was snapping shots of Clara in this cool frame at the park the other day and loved this candid best where she was bathed in the sunlight and clearly joyous (the meaning of her precious name).
I am feeling that way today, too. I got a good, full night's sleep last night finally, it's Friday and a 3 day weekend and my sunrise shot made it into the top 20 this week (making it that much more worth getting up and getting only a few hours of sleep last week). Feeling good.

@bobfoto I'll be honest. I was kind hoping for a twofer this week. I wanted Tina to be up there in all her glory. How cool would a tutu look in the top20:). It was pretty stiff competition this week, though...Thank you kindly. I left this shot in color. Trying to stay more colorful lately.
@bobfoto This was the closest I've ever gotten to a 2fer. Well maybe one other time. I'll just be happy with the occasional 1 here and there. But yes, maybe the tutu will bring me luck;).
@amandal - I did see it. It was a sunset over your favourite gazebo where you once did some yoga type exercise thingo. And no, I was not the creator of giddy up.

@chelmck It is such a great place. Just a wee little taste of Central Park in our town. They were so smart to fix it up like this! You've got to see my little sweetie from a few days before this...a candid of a little girl in the water. She was adorable and dancing around with her tongue out.
