I went by the horse farm yesterday and fall is nearly in full effect. Or more so than before. Last year I showed up the day after the trees shed their leaves and I was annoyed. This year, I've stalked the place. We've been getting lots of wind and rain so chances are when I go by again, the limbs will be bare.
Lovely composition, I love the road leading us to I think a stable or shed. I especially love the fence blending in with the trees as soldiers guarding the post.

Wow -- great leading line!! And someday, you should come up to the city for a photo walk in Chicago. I can so relate to the number of photos you took in NYC and wanting to continue to post. I still have some but am feeling guilty using them a week later!

@amandal my friend ... if you have 20 favs and still no PP .. just means you have set really high standards and are not meeting those per the computer 'algorithm' ... :-) at least thats what I understood from Ross's 'behind the scenes' post a few days back ... either ways ... loved this image .. :-)
@amandal - you're a victim of your own success. It'll take either a week of hardly any favs or some crazy high number of favs for your algothrim to trigger pp. I got pics with 30 and more favs and no pp :(
@amandal I guess I am preaching to the choir .. but I think it depends on how you view PP ... couple of weeks back I was a little dis-heartened too ... I was viewing PP as a 'aspirational' target ... to measure my photos' and improvement ... but when after a flurry of PPs, I just couldn't make it anymore despite much more Favs than I had earlier, I started feeling that I was going backwards. .... But after reading what Ross had to say about the 'logic' and no involvement of human element .. that 'disappoinment' has now gone away ... I do not see ti as a 'way' to evaluate my photos or improvement.,,, though I'll confess ...it is fun to be there no doubt ... !! :-)

@adamj No PP for this or my selfie. It's practically impossible to get up there for me. Sheesh. I hate the algorithms. It makes me have to start posting crappy photos or some amazing amazingness if I ever want to get up there. We're in the same damn boat...
@amandal Enjoy the path to enlightenment...or some such crap...lol As you had mentioned previously, you are a victim of your own success. You actually may find yourself appearing on the TT and not on the PP!
@adamj I was thinking of doing a really interesting toenail series this week to suck it up a bit. That image on TT would be nuts. But yes, it could make it.
