The sun was on fire in the sky as it rose this morning. It was such such a welcome sight after some days of gross gray weather. Yesterday was gray and miserable. We even got some sleet. I so wish that my moods were less effected by the rotten weather.
When I saw the sun lighting up the trees, I just had capture it, but I couldn't find my camera. Whoops, I had left it in the car...for days. My lens was fogged up because I was parked outside and it was freezing cold. The fogginess gave it kind of a cool effect, though.
Basking in the sunshiny glow today. I had a pretty darn good week, probably my best solid week ever, photowise. No PP's, though until today finally, but I did end up making the top 20 with my selfie that I almost didn't have the guts to post. Feeling happy and so grateful for your wonderful support.
The sun feels great, I've been very productive today, and tonight, I'm going on a date with my mate...my second this week:). Life is good.
Praying you are feeling blessed and loved today and have a wonderful kick off to your weekend!
Amanda, this is so bright and cheerful! I understand so much your moods being affected by the sun or lack of it. It is why we go south for the winter. It isn't always real warm ....but 60's are not bad. It is the sun I need..the light. I do hope you can become a "snow bird" some day too!! Congrats on your TT...it was a brave and and lovely capture of "who you are"!! Love your work and your words are always so inspiring as well. You may not realize how many of us you do inspire!! =) =)
Lovely sunrise and nice on camera effect :) I know how you feel. I feel much better when the sun is out and shining no matter the temperature. Love that you got on the TT. Have a great weekend.
Thank you all for you sweet comments. Glad to share my sun with you. Amazing how much we all need its light and warmth. Gray and cold here much of today, but it peeked out in the late afternoon while we were house hunting. Today we found a nice one...maybe best yet, besides the one that got away:).
@bobfoto Bummer was small yard. but great house, big deck and lots of trees... and a non platypus creek. still two more to see tomorrow. The process kinda sucks! Thanks, friend.
@marco17 Good to hear, friend. Yes, pretty well. Hoping to be moving soon. That will be a lot of work to prepare for, but wonderful to be settled in our own place again!
@losthorizon Thank you. I love that I can see the sunrise out my back window each morning. I only wish my view were the mountains or ocean or something a little nicer than houses. I wonder if we will see it well at the new place. That backyard is solid woods so that could be amazing!
