Fall reached it's peak last week and is slowly fading. The leaves are raining down. Probably another week or so and the trees will be bare until the spring. Months and months of stark bare branches. Which carry a haunting beauty all of their own. I'm so enjoying falls last hoorah. I snapped this while on my run today. I just couldn't pass by the red leaves, the bokeh and the rustic fence line.
Have I mentioned that I am going to miss the lake?! I can still come and visit, but not as easily.
Lovely light on the water and beautiful colour in the leaves. The fence looks like it has burnt wood in places. Great shot. Enjoy the last of Autumn and get ready for the oncoming months of cold, cold weather :) 31 degrees here today ;)
@zakelius That's one perk to running with a jogging stroller. There was a time when I ran with my p&s in my hand a few times. I typically run with a partner and I was probably pretty awful to run with when I stopped for photos. I did get some amazing sunrise shots that way, though:). Thanks Hugh.
