This is the view that I am going to miss the most. We have the best seats in the house (or pretty darn good ones anyway) to the morning sunrise. I see it each day out my back window and sometimes I grab my camera to capture it's glory like I did today. I think that they are more amazing and dramatic in the cooler months.
We are moving forward with the house. Should things continue to work out will will be moving in the next few weeks. It feels surreal and not possible. The process has been so long, I guess. I'm so ready to feel settled again, but can't believe all that we need to do to get there.
As my year winds up, I see that it is going to be crazy to keep up with 365, pack, paint, move, travel for the holidays, etc. I will do the best I can, but will probably be taking it easier in the upcoming weeks.
Thanks so much for putting my One Tree Hill collage up on the top 20 this week. Really really appreciate all of your support and encouragement.
You know, this is the same reason it's hard for me to think about moving. MY VIEW. I don't care about the house, but without the view from my back porch swing, I am not sure I could make it. I so hope you find new views at the new place that fill your soul. I don't recall why you had to move? But this is gorgeous, and I DO understand!
@moreyoulessme We are renting. The landlord told us she is selling the home. Thus we have to move. She did offer that we could buy it. We actually found an amazing place, that has a backyard that is woods and very private. Gorgeous neighborhood. It's good, but not the same orientation so no sunrise out my windows and no lake that I've grown to love. I can still drive to it, but it won't be my normal walking and running place. Thanks for getting me, friend!
What a gorgeous sunrise and so fitting! Hope the new home is all you want it to be and it will fun making it your own. Hope to hear about and see photos when you have time. Take it easy and don't forget us. You have been such a big part of this journey of mine. Seems so many are leaving or pulling back.....wish you all the best!!
Congrats on the house and knowing you will be settling in before the end of the year. Your images from the lake and this area are fantastic -- how lucky we were on 365 that you were living where you were. Wonderful shot of the sunrise!
Glorious and a fav! It can be so tough to move and leave things we love. But there are great things ahead that you will love also.... I hope you can keep posting thru it all! Especially a Sewer Tart with Pimento pic. Lol
A stunning combo of dark and light. I am sure you will have lovely sunrises where ever you are Amanda! Good luck with the process, it always seems daunting when you list all there is to get through, but one step at a time and you will get there.
@zakelius Thanks so much for your kind comments and fav!
@espyetta Thanks so much for your kind words and fav, MB!! I am so inspired with the photo now. My mind has been cranking with ideas all day. I just need to buy some pants and get out there in the sewer. Maybe this week?
@simon0128 Really appreciate your kind comments and fav, Simon!!
@archaeofrog Katie, I have thought the same thing...it is so like an African savannah...probably the closest I will ever get to seeing that. I only wish that there were a palm tree and a giraffe silhouetted. Then I'd have perfection:)!
Thank you all so much for your great comments and well wishes. Perhaps I will be posting lots of packing boxes and moving shots in upcoming weeks. I'll keep posting as long as I can, but will just have to take breaks for when we have no internet (between connections) and while I am away for the holidays. I also have an idea for a selfie coming up so stay tuned.
And I absolutely need to get out to the lake for one more sunrise while we are here and it is convenient. I will only be 15 minutes away from here so I can come back for walks still, but it will not be the same. Micheal does seem to think that our new woodsy backyard will face the sunrise, so that could be nice. And I am hoping see deer in the woods.
Dram queen she is, stunning tones and I do like the dramatic clouds. It must be wonderful to look something like this from your own house, I can very well understand you´re going to miss this!
@gozoinklings Drama queens are the best...or can be fun...unless you are their mother. Yeah, my kid is a drama queen and I have NO IDEA where she gets this?! Thanks sooo much for your sweet and fun words and fav. I appreciate you, my friend!
@rennes Thanks, Lisa. Really appreciate that. Nothing like a dramatic sunrise!!
@edie Thank you sooo much for the fav, my friend. I really should pay for the membership with picmonkey...you can do so much more with it. I really love some of your great processing with your selfies and how fabulously smooth your skin looks.
This is a gorgeous shot, Amanda. What a beautiful view you have. Good luck with the packing and move. It is always a lot of work. You should be pretty settled in for Christmas. Your first in your new home. Hugs!
@seanoneill@darsphotos Thanks so much, dear friends! Soooo looking forward to being settled again. I feel like it has been awhile. Like since I started 365.
@deniseescovino @fullcircle You ladies are so sweet...thank you!! Happy weekend!
