Back in the spring, I took a shot of the same fence lined roadway all green and fresh and new (see here for the original: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-05-04 ). I revisited this place again with snow on the ground to see how it changed in the new season. I was trying to make the best of a gray day and show that even gray miserable days can be lovely in their own way. I also thought that this stretch was a great place to go for the weekly fences theme.
Last week I attempted my first santa hat selfie and posted the mostly lousy shot of Facebook as my profile photo (it was not 365 worthy in my opinion). I had a maniacal expression, my fly appeared to be down (it was really just pulled, being tight jeans and all and seemed down), and the whites on my beard and hat were all blown out. My mom commented that I appear to have "gone round the bend." And my reply back was "Oh, mom, but I have!!" Gearing up for a real break for the holidays. I will be off mostly and probably not posting much for about a week or so (maybe one more fun selfie first if I have time to pull it off). And then I will be back and in an uploading frenzy so that I can finish up my project on December 31st. Hope that it all comes together and I can do the shot that I have in mind for The End (at least for year 2).

@pflaume Hey, thanks so much, Lisa. How is the processing? In the end, I am thinking it's a little yellowy, but over it. Glad to make my fence friend swoon. I did the same for Jeff with my barn shot yesterday...so nice to WOW the masters of their crafts. I guess that I am the gazebo lady:).
Really love this capture...I feel as though I am riding a sleigh down this road ! The fence lines are wonderful FAV.....will miss you. Wishing you a very very Merry Christmas filled with the love of your family. We'll "see" you next year for sure!! But hey..you are almost done with your 2nd year!!
