This week, at Mad Hatters we are doing the fun story of the Paper Bag Princess. It is not your mama's fairy tale princess story. Emily played the role for me as Lucas seemed to think that I would need "a really big bag" if I was the princess. Humph!
Emily had NO problems playing this princess. She was supposed to look mad (and despite a fit of giggles because her crown kept falling off), Em was a natural.
She's always been intense, this kid of mine. As an infant, she had colic and screamed for hours each night. As a toddler, she would shake her fist and tell people to, "Go AWAY, I'm in a bad mood right now!"
My Em. She keeps me on my toes. Just this weekend she asked when she can get a bikini...last weekend it was high heels. She's 7!!!
Happy Monday. Oh and check out the hatters story...it's pretty hilarious and I was happy with my edit of Emily and the burning castle: @madhatters
That is a fabulous look. My two year has a similar one..... He had THE MOST horrendous colic too.... Don't think he will be asking for bikinis though....
@newbank This kid has got me going gray!! Thanks, lady! #2's are tough:). She's my monkey in the middle. Gosh, though, when she is sweet, she's like butter!
@kcman5 She was actually supposed to look like this for the role I had her play in my story shot. But, yes, this is a typical Emily face:). Check out the final project shot here: @madhatters
@teiko It's a love hate thing, I think. Thanks, Emilie. Love your idea about carrying this ohoto in the wallet. And this is our house that burned to the ground;-).
@tremerryn They are very economical and do not need washing. A win win for this mama. Thanks for the kind fav and words! My kid is a natural drama queen.
Mini Amanda in a paper dress! She even stands like you Amanda! She's also a natural at acting like her mum, hard to imagine the giggles in between as she looks so intense. Great job, both of you!
@skipt07 Golly, she is in ways. Clara looks more like me, though...Em is a good mix of mama and daddy. And she got her personality from my mother in law:).
Beautiful! That expression is priceless! I hope that Em gets a proper modeling fee. My son had colic too, crying every waking hour for nine months straight. I still have flashbacks!

@roseolivia She is a whole nutha level, this kid. Thanks!!!:)
