Chicken's Eye View of the Barnyard

Scratch scratch, buck-ah!

Here is my last entry for ONS9 this week...it was urban or rural. I loved this shot from my barn shoot last weekend so I am going with rural. And hmmm, I was just in the city last night. Oh well.

This was also from a shoot where I was trying to imitate one of my fellow Mad Hatters styles. My other version that I felt was more him can be found here: http://365project.org/madhatters/365/2014-11-17 . Can you guess the Mad Hatter?

SOOC version here (preference?): http://365project.org/amandal/themes-challeng/2014-11-16

@kerristephens @amyleewinfield Thanks so much, ladies!! It was fun to take this. I did it that way to block seeing some stuff in the barnyard that was unsightly.

@jsw0109 This was the shot I loved best. What do you think? I also posted vanilla version here: http://365project.org/amandal/themes-challeng/2014-11-16

Such interesting processing to give an old fashioned type of photography to the image. Love that graininess.

You must know that I´d love this; so mysterious, the barn looks like it´s painted in the scenary

Great pov and focusing

Beautiful focus on the grasses in the foreground, throwing the barn out of focus.

I like what the added texture does for this!

tough call... I think I like this one better because the blue of the sky actually pulls my eye out of the picture in the vanilla version but I don't know if it necessarily would had I not seen this one first. I like both, but today I like this one better.

Fabulous processing! The point of view, textures, & focus add up to a wonderful photo! (Call me an official follower of your project, now....)

Love the pov and the shallow dof.
November 24th, 2014
love this... wonderful and creative focus on the grass ... great processing, it adds a lot... FAV

Fantastic POV!! I like the vanilla version the best, only because I like photos sooc without processing if possible!! This is pretty cool too. I love those fuzzies that seem to be everywhere!!! Love how the sun makes them glow and look even bigger than they are. I wonder if chickens think "WOW, we live in a mansion!" From the chicken's POV it certainly looks huge!! FAV!

Not convinced that the processing has improved the image.

What a clever title and this is fantastic!! Love the focus and textures.

I like your pov and dof. I have a slight preference for the sooc version but your processing on this one is really good and adds a bit of a creepy feel to it!

This is so cool! Love the texture you added. It really fits the shot. What program did you use to do that? Great POV and composition, too. fav

@pflaume Picmonkey...love it. I also used ribbit.com for my Mad Hatters shot to emulate Jeff Walker: http://365project.org/madhatters/365/2014-11-17
