Feeling Exposed by alophoto

Feeling Exposed

This poor statue in the window...exposed and feeling so ashamed. Trying desperately to hide herself the only way she can.

I used this window in a photo earlier in the year of my son. One of my favorite shots of the year: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2014-03-26

Posting early as my weekend and life is getting crazier in upcoming days.
Beautiful, with the trees outside. Great processing. Enjoy your weekend!

Awesome shot

I thought for a minute you had doused yourself in white flour and created a most unique selfie ;-). Cool shot against those foreboding trees.

The other photo shows how big the window is really! Here it could be small and the statue small too. But you are at a distance so the statue is quite big. Poor lady - someone should put a dress on her!

Beautifully composed and captured image. Surprised you've had time for these artistic creations.

@tonydebont It's my sanity. Littlest has slept tons today so I had some time to play.

Those windows are gorgeous with the bare trees in full view and the small statue emphasized by it's isolation. (I looked of the one with your son and it was a beautiful composition.) Both are excellent photos!

Oh my gosh, you and I must be on the same page, Amanda! Hehe. :)

@kareenking Check out 3 shots back. It was my yesterday photo. Really almost the same. I so thought of David. This is the female bashful version.

Lovely sepia style shot

This is wonderful, love how you didn't center it.
December 20th, 2014
Neat framing, lines, looks great as b&w

Love the processing here. You should put Chili there beside her.
December 20th, 2014
Super cool!
December 20th, 2014
wow you have nailed this one!
December 20th, 2014
@bill_fe Chilly is so tiny and hard to photograph.
December 20th, 2014
@amandal How tiny compared to the statue?
December 20th, 2014
@bill_fe He's like my pinkie tip size. SMALL!! Statue is lifesized or close.
December 20th, 2014
@amandal I guess he wouldn't show up well beside the statue. Wow, that's small.
December 20th, 2014
@bill_fe Ridiculous small. It's macro lens small. He was hard to work with.
December 20th, 2014
Very atmospheric and ghostly. p.s. love the title too!

Great lighting and comp!

The lighting in this one makes the picture for me.

Classy shot Amanda. I wonder if it would be even better cropped to square, with the lower quarter removed?
December 21st, 2014
@yrhenwr You may be right. Thanks! I liked the reflection on the floor, but not worth it probably.

Love this in B/W and wonderful composition! I always find it amusing that whenever you see a nude photo of a woman, she's covering her boobies but leaving her hoo ha right out there!!! Must have been a man that made those statues!! ROFL!! FAV!
December 21st, 2014
@cashew That is so funny. She seems to be modest and has a hand blocking the hoo ha. Maybe a woman did this one? Thanks!

There is so many elements I really like about this and not the least those tree silhouettes
