A new beginning, the dawn of a new day, a new age, a clean slate.
A new year to my photo project and peep into my life. Just thinking of these things and this morning, I was sent a colorful and lovely sunrise as a reminder, a beautiful new day and beginning.
Funnily enough, the sunrise was gorgeous and then the sun just disappeared into the grayness, a very typical OH winter day. Gray 80% of the time.
The peek at color, rejuvenated me, though and gave me a good perspective that I needed today. We taught Sunday School for 14 rambunctious five year olds first thing this morning and then watched our friend's 3 kids much of the rest of the day. It was a long and busy day, but good, surprisingly good.
In starting a new year, 2015, and a new year of the project, I've been thinking about beginnings.
Each day is a fresh start to make of it what you will. You can give life, spread love or spread hate and death. You can live for yourself, building up wealth and security or you can live putting others first and impacting the world for good. Each day we get to leave our fingerprints on the planet. What will yours look like? What will your legacy be? Who knows how long we have left to make it, how long we can make our mark either good or bad? What will you be remembered for? What will I?
I often start my day singing this song:

Thanks so much, so much for all of your great comments on my year 3 finish collage. It was my 3rd end photo to make the PP. I so rarely do and it means a lot when it happens. Thanks for appreciating my wacky.
@linnypinny Thanks so much for that!
@fullcircle Thanks, Cindy!
