The Stadium of Champions

Tonight is the College Football National Championship game. My college knocked themselves out of the running last weekend by playing pathetically, but tonight one of our local teams is represented, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Just a few weeks back, we happened to be on their field and in their stadium. And tonight, they may make history. Pretty cool.

Anyway, this was a shot of their empty stadium from the stands. I had to edit out my photobombers. I had one shot where I said to my nephew, "Hey, get outta my way, I'm taking a photo." and he laid down in the endzone by the O. Punk;-).

I was so into college football when I was in school. My school was a huge football presence and won championships in the year before I came and the year after I left. I loved the excitement of the stands, the cheering fans, people watching, and trying to start the wave. Good times.

So tonight it's the Ducks vs. the Bucks. Go Bucks, make Ohio proud!!!

Love this! When I found out we were moving to Ohio from Boston 28 years ago, I did not even know what a buckeye was. I do now and even have an OSU grad daughter!!! Go Buckeyes!

Love the color contrast of red and green! I hesitate to admit that the hubby and I do not "follow" football or, any other sport. Of course, many family members, co-workers and friends are rabid for the OSU Buckeyes.
We are "live and let live" on the topic. (I usually watch "The Kitten Bowl").
