Grilled to perfection, cut down in their prime and beautiful even in death.
Murdered senselessly by a big rednecky Ford down the street. One that rumbles loudly. One that looks like it would sport a rebel flag or gun rack, actually one that you would expect to have balls hanging from the back. A real killer.
Thanks for receiving my alive butterfly so well yesterday. I loved it's beauty even in its lack of color and originality.
Hope you are having a great weekend. Off to make bacon and waffles and then to throw my sister a baby shower on this rainy day.
There is defiantly some beautifully creepy morbidity in this shot! If that does make sense. Made me think of the "Silence of the Lambs" movie poster. And thank you very much for your interest in my photos and the follow!
You have a great eye,Amanda! The radiator makes an amazing backdrop .Love the rust and texture, the lines and symmetry ,contrasting the nature made lines of the butterfly!Fav!
Oh, dear! Lovely shot, even if these beautiful creatures have been "grilled" by a truck. :(. The radiator is fab, though, for a backdrop. Good luck with the shower.
I'm sure there is a place called Radiator Springs somewhere! This butterfly goes very well with the colour of the radiator grill! He (driver) must have been going very slow not to decimate it!
@maggiemae It was the town in the movie Cars (the animated Pixar film that was huge here for kids in the States). Lightning McQueen was the main character.:)
