I got a kick out of these talkative oystercatchers at Cocoa beach in FL. I had lived there most of my life and never seen these particular birds at the beach before. Loved that my son chased them and made them fly. He's his mama's son.
What cool birds! Love their colors, especially those orangish-red beaks. It almost looks like they don't have eyes as they're hidden in the black feathers.
