Finding No One Home, Goldilocks Enters

What a naughty, unmannered kid! Imagine?!

This was a scene I have photographed before without a person. I went back recently hoping to get a shot of the trees all lit up in autumn. I went early and here I got there late. But when I was there a few weeks back, I thought..."That looks like the 3 bears house, and I have a blonde wig. I need to do a Goldilocks shot there!"

Know what is rather embarrassing? Being out as an adult days after Halloween in a costume and taking your own photo in the woods. How weird is that? Sometimes I wonder what I do it for. But then I really enjoy doing it. I enjoy making people laugh or smile, encouraging them. Not that this does that, but...

So, there you go...why I was out a few days after Halloween, dressed like a little blonde girl in the woods. And my daughter asks..."Mom, do yo have shorts under that dress? It's really short."

Tagging for 5+2 exasperate theme because I HATE it when people come knocking at my door especially to sell stuff or break and enter. Totally annoying!
The world would be a sadder and more boring place, were it not for people like you. Worth the potential embarrassment. Bravo!

Of course, next time you could take your daughter with you (you have TWO, for heaven's sake!) and put the blond wig on her. :-)

@mcsiegle Ironically, I did take them and wanted to do it myself. I LOVE acting and this is my outlet. Kinda like being silly, too.

Brilliant, love it!

You like being silly?? What a shocker! BTW I love the strong verticals of the bare trees. Fall color can wait until next year

This one is beautiful, as well as fun! Perfectly titled, too.

What a wonderful shot and narrative. You are such an action girl! Fav for the photo and the effort ... and that blonde wig!
November 5th, 2015
@jamibann This took merely 4 shots...and I used the self timer. Selfies are easy without my face involved.

Love the golden tones in this fun image of Goldie!
November 5th, 2015
Wonderful sense of story you've captured once again, and your efforts are entirely appreciated. Laughed about your daughter's concern, though!

A Fav! for everything you dared to do to get this picture AND for how great it came out. And for the record, I laughed and smiled (because you can't laugh without smiling) but I assure you I'm not inspired to do the same thing - I don't have gorgeous legs like you.
November 6th, 2015
It is you! I wondered. It's those legs I'd spot 'em anywhere! Brilliantly executed shot. You're teaching your children a valuable lesson in going that extra mile for the things they love too x

@tracie8266 @annied @soboy5 @brigette @bella_ss @johnfalconer Thanks so much, guys. One of my favorite things to do photographically is to tell a story. When I saw this scene...I knew just what story I had to tell.
