First Little Snowball of the Season by alophoto

First Little Snowball of the Season

Sure it doesn't look like much, but I've got a great arm so watch out;-).

Tiny and not very threatening is the snowball, but I wanted to document the first little bit of snow as I am so anxiously awaiting the white stuff. It was only a dusting that accumulated a little more on the back of a chair. We didn't even see it falling.

And no, I did not eat it afterwards.
That's the total amount of snow I'd like to see here this winter! Nicely captured!

A sign of things soon to come!

Neat capture...Seattle is so hilly that any amount of snow causes havoc

What a cute little snow ball. I'm into miniatures this week and that one fits the bill.

Yeah for snow! Now here yet!

@kwind To be honest, this may have been a pile of frost:).

Love a bit of snow............there are always angels to make!

Your warm hand would make sure this tiny snowball wouldn't last long! If I threw a snow ball it would most likely land on me - I"m rotten at throwing!

@pixiemac An ant could make an angel in that amount of snow:).

@maggiemae That is funny!!!

@tremerryn I found it appropriate for who I am. The creepy lady in the van as I was dubbed by a neighbor jokingly.

Ha ha, that's probably more than we'll get. Since starting 365 nearly three years ago we have only had one light dusting of snow :(
December 4th, 2015
Put it in a plastic bag in your freezer for the summer!!!!
December 5th, 2015
Oh, I so thought you would eat it!! We get excited when it snows here, but we are waiting for some that actually hangs around.
December 5th, 2015
So glad you have the snow and we don't!! When we get snow at home though it lasts at the MOST 3 days. Love it in photographs though! Looking forward to bigger snowballs!
December 5th, 2015
Awesome- glad it's not yellow:)!

@eyesmile We don't get much either. Max a week on the ground. We'll have 4 or so snows a year. Usually just a few inches max.
December 5th, 2015
Even though it's just a little bit of snow, it's exciting, huh? I too wish for more snow this time of year. Something tells me it's not going to happen. Boohoo.
December 5th, 2015
Bet we're in for some snow filled fun shots. From little things, big things grow. Can't wait.
December 5th, 2015
Fun capture! We've had 32C here today - please send snow!
December 5th, 2015
Ha! You got more than we probably will this year! I know it must be exciting to anticipate, though!
December 5th, 2015
That's so cool! Living in Los Angeles, I've never seen a clump of snow like this before except in my freezer! haha!
December 5th, 2015
Very creative - wishing for some snow here but not likely anytime soon
