Just love it so much when my kids get along. The times when there is no whining, no tattling, no issues. Only giggles.
The kids have taken to reading in our back room lately. One of the best rooms in the house that we often overlook as it is kind of a glorified porch. They've been parking on the futon and reading near bed time.
I was doing dishes, peeked out and saw the girls goofing off and giggling together. This is my view out the window from my kitchen sink (it looks into this room where the kids are...it was an added on room).
It warmed my heart to see the joy and I wanted to share it with you.
Lately I've been using what's at hand for photos and that has often been my cell.
Better that than missing a moment.
Happy Friday! Tonight, I'm going on a fun date with my mate. Excited!
Anyone who has ever watched their children play together in one of those unbridled moments recognizes the joy in this shot immediately. I really like it for all that it signifies.
My two are two years apart. There was a lot of bickering and whining and complaining at times, but now they're 29 & 31 and best friends! (And their husband and future-husband each had to accept the future sister-in-law they were getting … and did!)
Great shot...and a great looking room too!
