This is my family. We are pretty super, if you ask me:). But seriously, we are doing something pretty cool these days and it is my husband's wonderful idea. We are unleashing our super powers by approaching the throne of God as a family and praying together. Such power in that and such a privilege that we are able to pray directly to God and not have to go through other sources (a high priest, etc.). God is accessible to all of us because of Jesus' work on the cross...he gave us open access.
We are trying to regularly pray together while wearing our capes to remind us of the power there is in doing this. Prayer alone is powerful, but a team praying together for a common goal is that much more powerful.
Before we pray, we all spend a little while gathering stories, ideas to pray for. We all check news sources, think about what is going on with those around us, etc.
Can you imagine how much would change, be effected, if this caught on? The world would be rocked for the good.
If you have anything you'd like my family to help you pray for, please let me know and we can add it to our list. That would be our privilege.
Wonderful idea. A very dynamic approach to prayer! I have several things that I would like you to pray for. Too many to list but God knows what they are so I think if you just offer them up He will hear your voices. Thank you!
I love that rainbow cape! :). A wonderful idea and powerful shot. I would appreciate it if you could add "a thoughtful and informed electorate" to your prayer list this year. Thanks!
I would be honored if you all would pray the Lord's guidance on my hubby's job search. He's been out of work for a couple months.... Wonderful thing you all are doing!
I think what you doing here is super, power in a team work. It´s an interesting concept to pray together as a family and I have no doubt it is also effective.
@bellasmom AWESOMENESS!!! We just prayed on Sunday. We will pray again for the interview. My husband took a special shine to this prayer as he has been out of work 3xs in the course of our marriage. Once was recently this past winter/spring. Thanks for sharing with me/us, Dina!!!
@alophoto another update for you all; my hubby got a job! He has orientation a week from today and starts 2 days after that!!! Thanks to your family for all your prayers! Praise be to our God who works best in his own timing!
@grammyn Really appreciate that!
@rosiekerr Yes, that is definitely on our list and hearts! Thanks!
@bellasmom We will definitely pray for that, Dina!
