I noticed this tree all aglow yesterday on my way home. I quickly went home, got my camera and returned hoping to catch the fiery color.
Trouble is, I was in such a frenzy with only a few minutes until meeting my family for dinner, that I somehow dropped my extra camera battery in my only charger while replacing the battery there. Like I was putting it in the bag and missed the bag.
I went back when I discovered it gone last night with flashlights. Mike and I walked around fruitlessly sweeping the ground with light.
Off to check it out in the daylight now.
I hate to lose stuff, especially when it is valuable to me, especially when it is expensive to replace. I hate making silly, costly mistakes.
Worth the shot?! I'm not so sure. I need to slow down sometimes. Praying I find it now and that it still works despite the dew.
so glad you didn't give up !!!!!! I'd loss my head if it wasn't attached ...seriously I'm so glad you realized it was missing .... our trees are not here yet :-( next year thinking Maine for fall pictures. I've seen some amazing imagines from there.
