So this week I joined Linked In finally. I am typically slow to get on board with social media. I needed to reach someone and the only contact I had was a Linked in address.
Anywho, as I signed up, it asked for a photo and I laughed thinking about my photo possibilities. I had not a one of me looking even remotely professional.
I tried to rectify that yesterday when I swapped my workout shirt for a more businessy top, dabbed on some make up, set up a tripod and practiced with my flash in poor lighting.
Not too shabby a result. I really need more practice with portraits and lighting, though. Still really struggle with the flash and proper lighting. I went black and white here because the color got faded with all of the editing to light it properly.
So there you have it, Professional Amanda. Does it work or look fake?;)
You look lovely! I agree with the others and love your creative other selfs but I get the feeling you are multi-faceted so this works as well! Flash is a bugger...my experience with it changed off camera and with modifiers!
