Reaching Through by alophoto

Reaching Through

I am going to do a fence series of my time in Juarez. There was a line of 100-150 people who came for food and clothing at the compound where we were staying and serving.

We were in the room where the food and clothing were, helping. And occasionally, I would look out at the line and take photos through the fence. The kids really seemed to love posing for me, the adults mostly glared.

The reaching hands here, bored from the wait, were precious to me.

The graffiti is a skate park across the street.
Such a good shot Amanda... loaded with meaning but allowing many interpretations (as long as we don't read your notes!) Fav

That image is so sad. The eyes have an air of resignation, there's little hope and precious little joy. You do good work !!
