Nose Snorkle of Floating Polar Bear by alophoto

Nose Snorkle of Floating Polar Bear

First he was pacing his enclosure, then he got in the water and blew bubbles. Polar Bear was bored. His partner was sleeping. He wanted to play.

One of the best things I have ever seen at the zoo were the two polar bears wrestling around and playing together. https://365project.org/alophoto/365-year-2/2013-05-17

But it wasn't happening on this day. One had stayed out too late the night before and needed a nap.

But this guy, he made his own fun. He swam and played around by himself. It was pretty cool to see.

Who knew that polar bears did the backstroke?

Thanks so much for enjoying my sweet monkey shot yesterday. I loved him, but then I didn't realize what he was doing/eating when I was capturing him. I almost didn't post until I thought of the funny story title:).

Have a Wacky Wednesday. I'm good today because I finally had an excellent night's sleep that was oh so needed last night.
Love cute! I love these bears

I think, sadly, not far in the future, this is the only environment we shall see them in. Glad to see him enjoying himself. Great shot.

so cute . We watched two polar bears play with a ball together at the Albuquerque Zoo and it was amazing. Sadly polar bears are no longer at the National Zoo . A new baby giraffe was born at the Baltimore Zoo so I hope to visit there ( never been) when they let the public see him. No giraffes at the National Zoo either. Thank goodness they have the pandas to draw people in.
