Proud as a Peacock

I got to see something I haven't for awhile...a peacock showing off his glorious tail.

I was so pleased to have my camera with me, though I had a zoom lens on and it was annoying to miss so much (I was limited as to what I could get in the frame).

My husband asked why I took my camera with me to the zoo and I told him I'd be annoyed without it. It's one of my favorite places for photos. Just love those beautiful creatures.

Glad I listened to myself and lugged the camera around. Worth it!!!
