Natural Fireworks

Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans...and happy July 4th to the rest of my friends.

Today, we celebrate our freedom and independence...and eat lots of hamburgers and hotdogs and watch things blow up in the sky.

I saw this grassy thing on the side of the path hiking the other day and pointed it out to my husband. He didn't see it like I saw it...it was a nothing to him, a weed. It was beautiful and unique to me.

Great capture, Amanda. Hope you had a wonderful 4th. It was loud here and throughout so many areas. Lots and lots of illegal stuff all around everywhere. First year it has been out of control. Car alarms were being set off due to the blasts. You were totally better off there. FAV
