Yesterday, my family family went back in time and attended a US Civil War reenactment, an annual summer tradition of ours.
Yesterday's was the best yet, as the first year, the battle started but was quickly cancelled due to rain and last year, we arrived just after the battle ended.
It was an incredibly well done mock battle, complete with people falling wounded and "dead", cannon fire and lots of smoke.
I took more photos during one short period yesterday that I have in awhile. I was in my phototaking glory.
