Recently this became a fall tradition for us after reading a cute kids book called, Applesauce Season.

You chunk 'em. We just slice 'em (from a corer). I wonder which way ends up with less peel material stuck in the bottom of the mill at the end. Hmm. Seems like an experiment to run...
