13 years of Lucas

13 years ago today, I became a mother. Me the mom of a teen...already?! Wasn't I just a teen?

It's been an amazing ride so far and really enjoying the wonderful young man that Lucas is becoming.

He's kind, compassionate, smart, creative, loyal, funny, quirky...really all around awesome.

I was blessed to be entrusted with raising this kid!

Each photo is a delight! Here is my old mom insight, which your collage reflects so well. Don't get sad as your children leave one stage, because the next stage has its own delights. I still enjoy seeing my grown children move from stage to stage. I also like moving into new stages myself.
