The Tiny Owl That Captured Our Hearts

One of the places that we visited on my birthday was a raptor center that I had never seen before.

This was the first owl that we met. I forget the type as it was a long name and one I hadn't heard of before, but we were melting over him.

My daughters and I wanted to take him home as a cuddly pet. Too bad he'd rip our faces off.

But golly, he was cute!

So cute! I rescued a barn owl chick who had flown on our windowsill out of whoknkowswhere and was certainly unable to fly away. Getting him into a box was quite a fight, I admit!
