One of the best things we did in Paris, that I would absolutely recommend was a sunset cruise down the Seine where our amazing British tour guide shared France and Paris history while pointing out the sights along the river. We loved her accent!! From there, we went to the top (2nd floor) of the Eiffel Tower in the dark to see the city of lights sparkling from above. We had wanted to go all the way to the top. Our cruise didn't include the tippy top. But dang, I'm so glad we stopped at the 2nd floor as I would have been a complete mess way up there whipping in the wind.
I did, however, climb all of the steps down. The elevator looking down was pretty freaky, but cool.
