The kids and I are on our summer break. Lucas and I have been hiking this week...got in 5 trails in the past two days.
We are working on completing a hiking passport at a couple local nature centers. We've done 10 of 17 (or 19 if we are overachievers) hikes.
This was taken along one of them the other day. There was a lady with a much fancier, nicer camera right on our tail. Shooting what I was shooting right behind me. Lucas said we should tell her about these frogs. I told him that she and her fancy camera could find them herself (and then I felt bad for my envy and told her).
Lucas helped me find these nearly camouflaged guys in all that green.
At 17 and now a senior in high school, he is a really cool kid to hang out with!!
