Trainspotting

30 / 365
If all else fails then a bit of impromptu trainspotting never hurts. This is where 365 & I crossed paths today! This is where the District Line crosses the Overground just by Putney station.

Nice shot, Alistair. Whereabouts is the taken from? Going towards Wandsworth town?

Fun shot. Isn't it from the bridge on Oxford Road in Putney - leads down from Upper Richmond Road to Putney Bridge Road? (that's where I immediately thought it was, anyway). If it's not that's Oxford Road over the bridge in the background

A familiar view!

@mshepherdson @shanne - this was taken on the pedestrian footbridge which links Disraeli Rd and Woodlands Way/Oakhill Drive. I'm facing Putney overground station and the Oxford Rd bridge is the second bridge in the picture. @bkbinthecity @kchuk @c_t - given the good feedback on this one - I might do a week theme of trains to keep you guys smiling!

I love the colors here and it looks so peaceful!

@kvanhorn - thanks - the colors on the trains really make it. As for peaceful - thats another thing! Between the rumbling of the trains and being under the flight path approach to London Heathrow along with the sirens - it can get a little loud :)

@alscarrott3 I know I would enjoy that

I was just looking at this on the pops page :) where it was a smaller size before I hit the shuffle button-- in the smaller version it looks almost like a tilt shift picture. The more I look at this, the more I notice! I liked it a lot to start and I just keep seeing more and more details in the picture. Like the two different levels of bridges, but both with arches.
