Paint Me yellow, paint me green.....

A day out with kids....
As I step out I see,
Happy colours call out to me.....

There was a time....
I would paint on china....
The smells of colours ....
Getting fired in the kiln....
Pieces cracking.....
Colours firing out.....
Sometimes perfect porcelain
Popping out.....
Wine glasses....with bent stems.....
Accidental Abstract art.....
All stream through my head.....
A few words that stayed with me....
"The first stroke is perfect....
The second, you injure it.....
The third you've killed it....."

"Let the bruises show.....
There is beauty in imperfection..."

All these words resonate in my heart....
And I reminisce about my journey with Art....
