Hmm...... yes I too was born 21 years ago. Very scared to hold so delicate a baby..... doesn't seem so long ago today and still seems a lifetime. Every ounce of care, each little step..... I recall.
One isn't taught anywhere how to mother or be a mom. You feel, you know, you learn..... people around always giving unasked for and unsolicited advice.
It's a tailor made space being a mom...... it's custom made. It differs with every mom.
Each ones experience is unique and precious. Each one deals in the best possible way they know at that point in time. No one else's experience can serve as a laid path.
It's a way each mother paves with her set of circumstances, trudging at times, at times jogging comfortably managing all the new things that are happening to her body and in the space around her.....
And she makes her own way.
In my own imperfect world with all my imperfections, a few bruises, a few blemishes..... I had laid down too many self made rules..... I've broken many of them today and feel free.
The lighter and easier we live, happier we are.
And Yes..... in that I am happy and satisfied to see my fledgling fly 😘😇
